I think I need real space from you now. We keep slipping into old habits without having any actual plan for what we’re doing. I need enough silence to learn what my life feels like without waiting for your name to appear. Maybe we can talk someday without reopening everything. I’m not there yet. Apparently some habits take longer to fade.

I still wonder what would’ve happened if we met later. TikTok showed me something that pulled the memory forward before I was ready. I found an old blanket right before that, which probably didn’t help. I’m not suggesting we test the theory. It’s just one of those questions with no answer. That’s really all. I didn’t think that would still get to me.

Honestly, I want you to come over, which is probably a terrible idea. I found an old baseball cap right before that, which probably didn’t help. The thought lasted maybe a minute, but it stuck with me longer than I expected. If this sounds emotionally dangerous, ignore me. I’m aware it probably is. That’s really all.

I found an old photo of us today. Nothing special was happening in it, which is probably why it got to me. I was at the mall when it crossed my mind, and the timing felt weirdly specific. I don’t want the relationship back. I’m just glad some ordinary memories are still good. I just wanted to say it once.

I kind of want to see you tonight. It was such a small thing that I felt ridiculous for noticing it. I didn’t expect my reaction to be that immediate. If that would mess with your head, ignore me. Honestly, it might mess with mine too. I just wanted to say it once. I didn’t think that would still get to me.

I think this needs to be my last message for a while. It was such a small thing that I felt ridiculous for noticing it. I saw boba and immediately connected it to one of our stupid old routines. I care about you, but I need enough distance for something new to feel normal. Anyway, I hope you’re okay.

I have one question I never really got answered. I didn’t expect to say that today. I saw spicy chips and immediately connected it to one of our stupid old routines. It was such a small thing that I felt ridiculous for noticing it. I’m not asking to argue. I’d rather hear something painful once than keep guessing. No pressure to respond.

Seeing you move on made something click for me. I didn’t expect my reaction to be that immediate. The thought lasted maybe a minute, but it stuck with me longer than I expected. Now I can see both things can be true: we mattered, and we still ended. I just wanted to say it once.

I still think we were the right people at the wrong time. I didn’t expect to say that today. I almost ignored it, then kept circling back to it anyway. I found an old blanket right before that, which probably didn’t help. I’m not asking to reopen it. I just think timing mattered more than we admitted. Anyway, I hope you’re okay.

I heard a song today that immediately reminded me of you. TikTok showed me something that pulled the memory forward before I was ready. I was at the burger spot when it crossed my mind, and the timing felt weirdly specific. For once, the memory was nice instead of painful. You don’t have to answer.
